The Tamang (तमांग) are the largest Tibetic ethnic group of Nepalis (नेपाली) and Indian Gorkhas (भारतीय गोरकास, Bharatiya Gorkhas).
They are traditionally Buddhist by religion and their languages are the fifth most spoken in Nepal (note all Tamang languages are not mutually intelligible).
The Tamang (तमांग) are considered as one of the indigenous people of Nepal and India.

The Soli Dharma Tamang Haar / Surya (सोली धर्म तमांग हार / सोली) is made of fabric and tied in a symbolic, traditional way.
It is scented with Surya Soli Dharma (सूर्य सोली धर्म) to exude its clean and beneficial energy.
It bears integrated in its lacing, a vial of fortified Surya Soli Dharma (सूर्य सोली धर्म) that acts as a protection amulet from any dark energy.

Astrologically, Surya (सूर्य / Ravi, रवि / Adithya, आदित्य / Bhaskara, भास्कर / Divakara, दिवाकर / Surya Narayanan, सूर्य नारायणन / Sun) symbolizes life, consciousness, expression, creativity and pure luminous energy.

Surya (सूर्य / Sun) belongs to the Navagrahas (नवग्रह, 9 Astral Bodies or 9 Realms or 9 Planets in the Indian and Vedic astrology/ 9 Mythical Deities of Hinduism) and is considered as the most auspicious star oriented at the centre of our Solar System.
